Zonguldak’ın Ereğli İlçesinde kurulu Ereğli Demir ve Çelik Fabrikaları’nın (ERDEMİR), Kümaş Manyezit’i satın aldığına dair anlaşmaya Rekabet Kurulu tarafında onay verildiği bildirildi.

Şirketten yapılan yazılı açıklamada, Ordu Yardımlaşma Kurumu (OYAK) bünyesindeki ERDEMİR’in, Kümaş Manyezit’in tamamını satın almak üzere Yıldız Holding ve Gözde Girişim ile anlaşma imzaladığı hatırlatılarak, şunlar kaydedildi:

“OYAK Maden Metalürji şirketlerinden ERDEMİR, nitelikli manyezit cevher sektörünün dünyada en büyük maden işletmecisi, refrakter sektörünün Türkiye pazar lideri Kümaş Manyezit’i satın alma anlaşması Rekabet Kurulu tarafından onaylandı. Kümaş Manyezit Sanayi A.Ş. hisselerinin devrinin, diğer yasal izin ve onayların alınmasının ardından gerçekleşmesi planlanmaktadır. Kümaş, dünya kriptokristal manyezit cevherinin yaklaşık yüzde 20’sine tek başına sahip ve alanında dünyada ilk 10’da yer alıyor. ERDEMİR, bu satın alma dikey entegrasyonu sağlayarak, maliyet kontrolü ve verimlilik elde edecek.”
